Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 23, 2026 | Last Updated: September 7, 2026

1. Our Core Privacy Commitment: Zero Server Uploads

At OptiKit (accessible from https://www.optikit.co.in), user privacy is not an afterthought—it is our fundamental architectural foundation.

Unlike traditional online converters and compressors, OptiKit does NOT upload, store, or transmit your files, photos, signatures, or documents to any remote server or third-party cloud. All file operations—including JPEG/PNG compression, document dimension resizing, PDF password decryption, signature trimming, and background removal—are executed entirely within your device's browser using client-side WebAssembly, HTML5 Canvas, and JavaScript APIs.

Your sensitive personal identification cards, certificates, and photos remain strictly under your personal possession and control at all times.

2. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Disclosures

We may display advertisements provided by Google AdSense and its affiliate advertising networks to support the free operation of this service. Google requires that we disclose the following terms regarding ad serving and cookie usage:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites on the Internet.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • Alternatively, users can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

For comprehensive details on how Google manages information collected through its publisher partner sites, please review Google’s Partner Policy.

3. Web Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics to monitor aggregate, non-personally identifiable traffic metrics (such as daily visitor counts, browser types, and popular tool pages). This data helps us optimize platform performance and discover which utility features require improvement.

Analytics scripts collect standard log data such as IP addresses (anonymized where required by law), browser user-agents, and referral URLs. Analytics data is never linked to the files or images you process locally.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

OptiKit does not use persistent tracking cookies for its own first-party functions. Local browser storage (localStorage) may be used strictly to remember your interface preferences (such as tool settings or recently chosen dimensions) locally on your device.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, some third-party services (such as ad personalization) may function with reduced relevance.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

OptiKit does not knowingly collect or solicit personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so that we can take appropriate measures.
